Our beautiful farmhouse sleeps upto 6 guests, with three large bedrooms. Situated just outside the village of Clapham, plus we have excellent transport links.

The property has undergone extensive renovations to provide all modern amenities whilst still keeping the original features and character.

Tranquillity Camping is situated in Keasden Nr Clapham, in a quiet and relaxing location. The family run the campsite alongside the farmhouse Holiday Accomadation. We have the famous Three Peaks and the Forest of Bowland in our area of outstanding Natural Beauty.

There are lots of walking and cycling routes, plenty of places to visit near the campsite for all ages to enjoy. Please note pre booking is essential as we are only a small camping site.

We are 2.5 miles off the A65 with local shops in the villages of Clapham, Austwick and the market town of Settle is within 8 miles. All sell locally produced food. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs to relax and enjoy a meal out.

Sitting out in front of the cottage, so sympathetically modernised, watching the busyness of the swallows and house martins, listening to the curlews and the beck burbling offered such contentment….Plus loads to do around and about in the amazing Dales scenery. And such welcoming and good hosts! Already booked for next year and can’t wait!

Just back from a weekend at Lower Turnerford Farmhouse - camping 🏕 with family. The camping area is at the top of the property (rental is further down the driveway) we had the full field to ourselves (4 tents and 2 large party gazebos) with ample space for kids to play. The campsite just had electricity added which was a surprise and real bonus. However they also have mains access in the kitchenette area which is near the toilet/shower too. There is a lovely little walk around down the field to the Beck that runs through the farmland. You can double back or complete a loop for those wanting more exercise. Kids and adults loved that. Co-op food shops are pretty close by and there are so many walks, bike rides and places of interest to visit if you are staying longer, such as Ingleborough Caves. This venue really is best if you’re able to rent it out to yourselves (4 tents + I believe) as you’ll have it all to yourself with the owners nearby if you need anything. We went as a party of 6 adults, 6 kids. Looking to book for next year ASAP, before it gets booked up.
